jack-jack-jackie

wooooohoo!!!

last nite....i was so excited that i couldn't sleep till 4:30 and i woke up at 8:15

i was excited to be going to the city shoppping!!!

and i had good reason too!

first we went to brunswick st for clearit which had new stuff!!

there were two dissappointing things there.....there was a looong jacket [that i wore over a short skirt ^____^] that i liked and it looked decent on me....but it sorta made me look a tiny bit shorter and fatter than normal....and i would only pay $70 for perfect. [and i got jasmine and emily to try it on and it looked good on jasmine and not exactly the right look for emily....but it 'fitted']

and the other was pants. there was this one pair of pants...$20...skinny....not exactly jeans....brown....and niiicccceee. since it was niiccceeee and i still don't have any skinny pants ...well i wanted it. but like all pants...they were too long...which usually isn't a problem but since these were niiiicceee pants....there were zips at each end of each leg....which would prevent me from bringing them up....ah but they color was nice and i don't have any shades of brown...or any type of tight....and it was cheap.....bumm...

and then i went downstairs and there were these jeans....more of a shade of grey with a bit of brown to it....skinny....bring-up-able...not as cool with the zips....but th e bad parts: although the legs fit just right, the waist was too big [which would reveal my bum crack wenever i sat down]...which isn't too bad, i'd buy it for $20....but, here's another one: it was $60. so i didn't get that either.

but wat i DID get: a black jacket....which is perfect. the jacket i've been looking for over the span of many years. it was black and $50. i don't know how to explain jackets.

anddd a black half-length cardigan which has a zip down the middle instead of the usual lot of buttons....the sleeves are nice and skinny/long....and there's a hood....and the fabric..sorta like.....tight mesh. i'm wearing it now. it was $10. the only problem with this one is that the zip is a tiny bit weird and hard to grab [but comfortable zips are too big and unattractive anyway, plus i could just attach something to it if i really need to] and there is a tinnyyy hole up the top near the neck.

oh...there is one thing wrong with the black perfect jacket. the sleeves. i like it wen the sleeves hug my arms....these don't and they are slightly too long. but....it is a jacket....so there should be space for layers underneath anyway.

there was a special where, if you spend over $100 you get a free bag so me and julia combined our spendings to add up to $100 but since julia and i couldn't find a bag that we wanted....emily got her bag for free.

oh and that pretty boy from the first time we went was there again. with a red scarf...or was it a red jacket? something was red.

julia got a stripy shirt, a smaller size of those $60 pants that i didn't get, and a belt.

jasmine got two belts and a skirt....and she wanted emily's bag.....too bad

and emily got her free bag.

that went till 1:00

we got bak to the city and had lunch at melb central. i had pasta and we sat in front of breadtop to eat. since i finished eating first i went off to find somewhere to remove my longsleeve that i wore under my shirt [cos it was getting warm].

then emily bought 2 ties from this sock place. i payed for the cooler one for her b'day which was last week.

and then we went into a shop that said [crazy $1 sale!] and they all bought earings...which were all cool but i don't have piercings and i don't plan to wear any clip ons.

and then me and jasmine went to easy dvd while emily went to return a shirt to jayjays with julia. i bought the new police story for $5!! and then we went to queen st in search of a cheap store that julia's friend had told about....but to no avail....the magical warehouse had dissappeared. so we went to bigW where i got my fair lady for $12....i tell myself it's for my mum but it is also half for me. and then we went to this shop hidden in an alley, the basement discs where i got a comedy cd: the originaly comedy album from emi. it's got 20 classics. for $10

and then we went to retro star where emily and jasmine got some tshirts $10 each

and i searched for another one of the badge that i lost...kombi galore....but couldn't find one...instead i got a bruce lee badge for a dollar.

and thenn.....we went hoome.

i'm also excited now that monica tells me that i have a beatle-something coming from america.....yayyy!! but i am aware that i do have to wait for a while...so it won't keep me up at nite.

the last time emily went to basement discs she wore a shirt that i printed for her...the david bowie one....and the guy at the counter complimented the shirt!!! very happy.

and so...

i have the rest of the week to do my homework...and clean my room....

....and watch jackie chan and audrey hepburn movies or listen to comedy cds

hmm.....must concentrate!

i don't want skool to start again...i need more time to do work!

i have new police story too...!
personally, i like the old school police stories he made, cos he's much fitter, and younger, and funnier...and just more kick-asss

sounds like you had an awesome day out at the city..
we need to go back to brunswick st 'clearit' cos i need more t-shirts.

i am still looking for jackets. the one you bought sounds nice.

i want a jacket that looks like a flanelette shirt..that is red.
i think there is one at general pants co, but its probably really expensive. *sad face*

anyways, i dunno about this 'basement discs' place you're talking about, so you have to bring me there next time we go to the city.
